Values
we are uncovering better ways of developing customer solutions by doing it and helping others to do it as well. through this work we have come to value:
- individuals and interactions over processes and tools
- working solutions over comprehensive documentation customer and supplier
- collaboration over contract negotiation
- responding to change over following a plan
we embrace change as a dynamic transformative process that brings new possibilities changes an opportunity to navigate and thrive in a shifting and evolving environment
Principles
1
our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of a valuable solution we relentlessly seek feedback and knowledge from the customer and the marketplace
2
we welcome changing requirements even laid in development agile processes harness change for the customer and enterprises competitive advantage
3
we deliver working solutions frequently from a couple of days to a couple of weeks with a preference for a shorter time scale
4
all of the people in the enterprise that provide the solution to the customer must work together daily throughout the solution’s entire life cycle
5
we build high performing solution teams around around motivated individuals so that they are dedicated enabled and inspired to deliver the solution in its entirety; we give our solution teams the environment and support they need and trust them to get the job done
6
we provide solution teams with the technology that supports multiple modes of communication to enable multiple time zones, flexible working schedules and different communication and alerting needs of the individual team members we encourage and budget for periodic face to face PI plannings (along with other functional spaces for coordination) and team building events
7
our working solution is our primary metric of progress
8
our agile processes promote sustainable Pace or flow of value
9
continuous attention to technical Excellence good design and investment into a continuous delivery pipeline with automation enhances
agility
10
simplicity the art of maximizing the amount ount of work not done is essential. High utilization results in gridlock
11
the best architectures, requirements and designs emerge from both intentional design and just in time architecture and design
12
at regular intervals the solution team reflects and acts to improve the solution their alignment with enterprise strategy, their competency and their performance. The enterprise supports and promotes this healthy principle by allowing the team to retain capacity for each and every time box for continuous improvement backlog items, specially on those related on the way teams work
